Secures Exclusive Manufacturing Rights in Korea and Global Distribution Rights — Targeting Recycled Carbon, Spent Batteries, and Solar Recycling Markets

Purenson, a materials-focused company, announced on the 19th that it has reached an agreement with Australian clean technology firm BraveCo to establish a strategic global joint venture (SPC) aimed at expanding into the global advanced materials market.
Through this agreement, the two companies will leverage BraveCo’s core proprietary technology, the Vortex System, to develop businesses centered on high-purity recycled carbon black (rCB) and environmentally friendly energy materials. Notably, Purenson has secured management control and manufacturing leadership of the joint venture, strengthening its position beyond a simple technology partnership and enabling decisive business execution.
Under the agreement, the partners will build a manufacturing system optimized for the Korean market. All manufacturing and marketing operations will be managed by the joint venture, with Purenson leading technology localization and large-scale production based on its exclusive rights in Korea. In addition, the two companies have agreed on a phased global expansion roadmap, under which the joint venture will extend its exclusive global rights by replicating Korea’s successful operational model in international markets.
The joint venture’s flagship products will include ultra-fine recycled carbon (rCB) in 20-micron and 10-micron grades, offering significantly higher precision than conventional recycled carbon materials. These advanced materials are suitable not only for tires and rubber products, but also for high-value industries such as semiconductors and automotive components. Building on this foundation, the partners plan to expand into the recycling of end-of-life EV batteries, solar panels, and wind turbine blades, addressing the growing demand for sustainable future energy infrastructure.
James J. Kang, CEO of Purenson, stated,
“This agreement marks a major milestone for Purenson, allowing us to take the lead in global manufacturing and sales while expanding our business on equal footing with a core technology partner. By combining Korea’s advanced processing capabilities with BraveCo’s proprietary technology, we aim to become a game changer in the global materials market.”
Bruce Muir, CEO of BraveCo, added,
“We highly value Purenson’s execution capabilities and Korea’s strong manufacturing competitiveness. BraveCo will fully support R&D efforts to help the joint venture grow into a global industry standard.”
