“Introducing Technology to Process 50 Tons of Waste Tires Daily” – Purenson Partners with Australia’s GDT
Purenson, Inc. (CEO James J. Kang) announced on September 25 that it has signed an exclusive license agreement with Australia’s Green Distillation Technologies (GDT) and BraveCo during the 2025 International Mineral Forum held in Yeongwol, Gangwon Province, from September 22 to 24.
GDT holds the world’s most advanced waste tire pyrolysis technology, officially approved by the Australian Environmental Protection Authority (EPA). Its system can process 50 tons of waste tires per day, recovering steel, light oil, and reclaimed carbon black. Remarkably, the emissions generated are only 1% of the legal limit—equivalent to a diesel truck driving just 10 km, even during 24-hour continuous operation.
BraveCo, meanwhile, has developed its proprietary Vortex Refining System, which processes reclaimed carbon black into ultra-fine particles smaller than 20 microns, enabling its use as a high-quality industrial material.
Through waste tire recycling, Purenson aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while producing resources that can replace fossil fuels, establishing itself as a carbon-negative company. The carbon credits generated in this process can be traded in domestic and international markets, creating additional profitability while contributing to Korea’s national carbon neutrality goals.
